Our Executive Team

Gordon Dewar Chief Executive

Giving a clear sense of purpose to our teams to ensure the airport continues to grow and improve.

Ensuring the airport operations run smoothly and efficiently every day.

Danny Quinn Chief Technical Officer

Managing airport assets and equipment to guarantee a safe and effective Airside operation for both staff and passengers.

Gail Taylor Chief Commercial Officer (Non Aero)

Strategically focused on commercial opportunities across the retail, property and car parking estate.

Gillian Pollock Chief People Officer

Leading HR, Recruitment, Occupational Health, and Learning and Development services provided to EAL and the wider airport team.

Gordon Robertson Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer

Responsible for all aspects of communications and marketing – driving engagement and sparking global conversations about the work we’re doing for Scotland.

Graeme Gibson Chief Financial Officer

Looking after all things financial across the business and reporting on performance to stakeholders.

Kate Sherry Chief Commercial Officer (Aero)

Continually growing and upholding Edinburgh Airport’s choice of airlines and destinations.

Stephen Swan General Counsel

Offering legal and contracts support to the airport and its teams, and helping to maintain legal standards across the airport.

Our campus partners

Airlines

We work with 37 airlines, flying 227 routes to 157 destinations. Airlines are responsible for check-in, baggage handling, cargo, and passenger safety boarding and on-board the aircraft.

Civil Aviation Authority

The CAA are the main regulatory body for aviation in the UK and have authority over flight paths, aircraft routes at UK airports, airline regulations, airports and National Air Traffic services.

Commercial Services

We strive to offer as much choice as possible in our retail offerings, whether that be in regard to the food, shopping, or car hire options available to our passengers. As an airport of provenance, we also focus on the promotion of Scottish commercial services alongside our international partners.

HM Customs and Excise

HM Customs and Excise controls the import and export of goods and prevents illegal activity.

HM Immigration

HM Immigration decide who is eligible to enter the country and deals with any deportation or asylum issues.

Air Navigation Solutions (ANS)

Air Navigation Solutions (ANS) are responsible for air traffic control and management.

Public Transport Services

We work with local public transport companies to provide onward travel options from the airport.
