Help us reduce the impact of noise on local communities
Have your say on our Noise Action Plan
What is our Noise Action Plan (NAP)
Edinburgh Airport is aware that noise is an important issue for our local communities.
Our NAP will detail how we propose to manage and mitigate noise from aviation operations at the airport. We hope this will enable us to further develop our relationship with nearby communities and other key stakeholders. Providing your feedback will help us to enhance and improve our proposed plan.
Consultation on our draft NAP will be open to responses from November 11, 2024 to January 31, 2025. Once responses are considered and incorporated into the plan the NAP will be finalised. This will then be in place from 2024 to 2028.
How you can get involved
Read through the consultation materials
Please carefully read through the consultation booklet, although noise and noise management is a highly technical subject we have tried to make our consultation booklet as jargon free as possible. We have produced factsheets and FAQs as well as additional reading materials for those with an interest. Your participation and response to this consultation will help us in ensuring our noise action plan manages noise effectively.
