Ryanair has continued to expand its presence at Edinburgh Airport with the addition of three further routes today to Paris, Madrid and Palermo.
The new routes will begin in November, with three flights a week to both Madrid and Paris Beauvais and two flights a week to Palermo, while the Irish carrier also this week added Cork to its Edinburgh schedule, operating three flights a week to Ireland’s second largest city from December.
It takes the total number of newly added Ryanair routes from Edinburgh for 2021 to eight, with Shannon, Ireland West (Knock), Tallinn and Turin the others.
Kate Sherry, Aviation Director at Edinburgh Airport said:
“We know people need and want to travel and with restrictions easing, we want to provide as many options as possible for them to finally take that trip they’ve been waiting for. It’s clear to see there is confidence in the Edinburgh market as one for sustainable growth and it is good news that Ryanair are working with us to add new routes where possible and help people return to travel safely."
